Monopoly pieces that never made it.

Guess whose second anniversary it is today? That’s right: Reselect.com’s! Oh yeah.

Remarkable that it’s been two years already…hardly feels like it. But that may be partly because I’ve slowed down in my posting a lot over the past year, so if you were to do a few comparative calculations, it would really only be something like 5 months in terms of the first year’s posts. If you know what I’m saying.

I couldn’t think offhand of any good “anniversary” songs, so instead I thought to myself: “Hmmm, what’s a good party-type song that would be ideally fun for such a festive occasion?” And lo and behold, the Presidents of the United States of America popped into my head with their ideally fun party-type song, “Lump” (from their self-titled debut album released in 1995 — yes, nearly 20 years ago, if you want to feel kind of old). And they’re even from Seattle, appropriately enough. So here it is, in all its goofy glory. Is there anyone who really hates this song? Hard to imagine, but I suppose there are all sorts of weirdos out there. (Oh, but not you, of course, if you happen to not care for it. I just mean those other folks, the ones who don’t like it and don’t read this blog.)

So thanks for reading Reselect and coming along for the ride. In summation: there’s plenty more where that came from.
