Although “Pioneer Camp” might indeed make a good band name (just make sure you let people know you heard it here first), it’s not, at least to my knowledge. What I’m actually trying to say here is that there won’t be a proper Reselect blog today, as I’m off to help chaperone my 4th-grade son’s overnight Pioneer Camp field trip. That’s where the students (and chaperones) will be spending 24 hours living like Western pioneers, learning how they lived off the land, eating like them, etc. My sources inform me that in the 1800s pioneers didn’t have the Internet or computers (who knew?), so I won’t be able to update the blog. And since the wagon train is pulling out very shortly, I don’t have time to do much more than this post this morning, if you’re wondering why I don’t just do it now. But with any luck we’ll survive the wilderness and I’ll be back tomorrow afternoon to post again.

But if you don’t hear from me by Friday, send out the search parties.
